Hypnotherapy and NLP

What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is the use of a hypnotic state marked by waking awareness that allows people to experience detached external attention and to focus on inner experiences. It can be used in treatment of pain management, weight loss, symptom management, phobias, smoking cessation, and a variety of other applications.

Hypnotherapy uses techniques such as relaxation, suggestion, coping skills and exploration of past events in order to work with the sub-conscious mind to create change or improve quality of life. 

What is NLP?

NeuroLinguistic Programming is the connection between neurological processes (neuro-), language (linguistic) and acquired behavioral patterns (programming), and the practice of changing these to achieve specific goals in life.  It is essentially the practice of understanding how people think, feel, speak and behave to produce the results they do. 

NLP is useful for personal development and for success in all areas of life. It comprises models, techniques and strategies to help us understand how the language we use influences the way we think and the results we get! It is a powerful tool for change.
